Barry is a financial professional with over 40 years of experience. He specializes in bankruptcy, insolvency and additional litigation matters serving troubled businesses. He has extensive experience as a court appointed receiver and has testified as an expert in Federal and State Courts.
Barry is a Certified Public Accountant. He was one of the first of fifty professionals recognized nationally as a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA).
Barry is frequently invited to speak for national and international organizations. He speaks on a wide variety of topics including bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring and business turnarounds. His practice ranges from small to mid-size enterprises to major corporations. Prior to founding BL Consultants, Barry was a Managing Director at BBK, LTD, a Partner at Baker Tilly, LLP and a founding partner at Zalenko and Associates, PC.
